: Today is National Dog Day! We absolutely love our animals but sometimes we don’t love the waste they leave behind. If left on the ground, it can introduce harmful bacteria to waterways, creeks and lakes. It also increases the risk of parasites and illness to humans, pets and wildlife. Please clean up after your pet especially while out on walks and at least once a week at home. Pet waste is not fertilizer! Easily bag and dispose of pet waste in the trash.
