We would like to thank our Mayor, Jim Barnett Jr. and the rest of City Council for the public safety recognition event held today in our Hometown Heroes park. Congratulations to the Sansom Park Police Department for their recent accreditation achievement.

The on duty crew got the opportunity to show off our apparatus as well as Captain Hensley getting to be subdued by Hans, our Police K9.

Thanks to everyone that came out. We appreciate the support and community interaction.

Special thanks to Sansom Park Public Works for coming out to assist with our electrical needs.

This morning your Sansom Park firefighters from C-Shift along with FWFD station 15 responded to a fully involved 18 wheeler fire. The truck had made contact with live power lines igniting the entire vehicle. No injuries were reported. As always, great collaboration between auto-aid partners in mitigating the incident.

Important information regarding bulk trash pick up.

Waste Connections will be coming by to pick-up curbside bulk trash and brush starting on Monday. You may begin putting out trash tomorrow at 7pm until Monday morning at 7am. For more information on curbside services please visit www.sansompark.org/2273/Bulk-TrashBrush-Curbside-Service

NWS Fort Worth has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning that includes the City of Sansom Park, Texas. A Severe thunderstorm near Boyd, TX, and moving at 30mph.

Producing heavy rain, lightning, golf ball size hail, and 70mph winds.
