With our friends at , we'll be hosting live cooking demonstrations at Rove Costa Mesa with local star chef, Jamie Gwen!

Road tripping anywhere hitting triple digits this summer? 🥵 Plan for an extra charging stop — the heat will likely reduce your range a bit.

Extreme temps (hot or cold) make your battery work harder to stay at an optimal temp while also keeping your cabin a comfy 68 degrees.

Pro tip: keep your AC running while parked and charging. You'll stay cool on grid power instead of draining your battery.

In Orange County? You can top off to 💯 at Rove - Santa Ana or Rove - Costa Mesa before you hit the road.

Did you know preconditioning your EV can help maintain range in hot weather?

What is preconditioning? It's just a fancy term for cooling your car down before you drive, while it's still plugged in.

If you're at a public charging center — like Rove — you can use your vehicle's app to set your interior temperature while you charge. That way, your car uses the grid's power to stay cool instead of your battery's 😉
