On August 19, North Patrol deputies conducted a proactive probation check that led to the discovery of multiple fi****ms, ammunition, 3D-printed handgun components, suspected methamphetamine, and suspected fentanyl.
During the investigation, deputies contacted multiple individuals on probation and conducted a lawful probation search. The investigation ultimately led deputies to a nearby hotel room, where they located additional evidence, including fi****ms, firearm components, narcotics, and drug paraphernalia.
Three individuals were arrested on multiple firearm and narcotics-related charges.
Great proactive police work by North Patrol deputies to identify criminal activity and remove dangerous weapons and narcotics from our community.

Through proactive patrols, community engagement, and a visible presence, our team is committed to keeping the fair safe for families, visitors, vendors, and staff.

North Patrol deputies regularly patrol the Silverado Canyon and Black Star Canyon areas to help keep our trails and communities safe. Whether you’re hiking, biking, or exploring the outdoors, you’ll likely see deputies conducting proactive patrols and assisting visitors.

With temperatures on the rise, please plan ahead. Bring plenty of water, wear appropriate clothing, let someone know your route, and avoid hiking during the hottest part of the day. Stay on designated trails, be aware of your surroundings, and help us keep these beautiful areas safe for everyone.
