On October 5, deputies assigned to North Patrol Deputies contacted an individual in Midway City for a county ordinance violation.
During the contact, deputies discovered a concealed knife and subsequently located suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, a digital scale, packaging materials, and cash.
Based on the investigation, the individual was arrested for multiple violations, including possession of methamphetamine for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia, and carrying a concealed dirk or dagger.
Another example of proactive patrol and deputies working to keep our communities safe.

Join the Orange County Sheriff’s Department on Sunday, October 25, from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM at the Villa Park High School parking lot for a FREE tailgate etching event.

This event is for truck tailgates only. Trained OCSD members will laser etch your vehicle’s VIN onto the tailgate, helping deter theft and assist with identification.

OCSD North Patrol Sheriff Special Officers (SSOs), assigned to the Security Bureau, provide security at Orangewood Children and Family Center 24/7.

Orangewood is a County of Orange facility providing emergency shelter, care, and support for children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or abandonment.

Our SSOs help maintain a safe and secure environment for the children, families, and staff at Orangewood—around the clock.

On August 19, North Patrol deputies conducted a proactive probation check that led to the discovery of multiple fi****ms, am******on, 3D-printed handgun components, suspected methamphetamine, and suspected fentanyl.
During the investigation, deputies contacted multiple individuals on probation and conducted a lawful probation search. The investigation ultimately led deputies to a nearby hotel room, where they located additional evidence, including fi****ms, fi***rm components, narcotics, and drug paraphernalia.
Three individuals were arrested on multiple fi***rm and narcotics-related charges.
Great proactive police work by North Patrol deputies to identify criminal activity and remove dangerous weapons and narcotics from our community.
