At approximately 5:19 a.m., Santa Barbara City Fire crews, with assistance from Montecito Fire, responded to a reported structure fire in the 300 block of North Alisos Street.
Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke and flames coming from the structure. Crews immediately began a coordinated fire attack while also working to protect neighboring properties. The fire was contained and extinguished within approximately 30 minutes. Crews conducted a thorough search of the home and confirmed that it was clear.
No injuries were reported. The American Red Cross was contacted to assist nine residents who were displaced as a result of the fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Alrededor de las 5:19 a.m., los bomberos de la ciudad de Santa Bárbara, con la ayuda de los bomberos de Montecito, respondieron a un incendio reportado en una estructura en la cuadra 300 de North Alisos Street.
Los bomberos llegaron y encontraron mucho humo y llamas saliendo del edificio. El equipo comenzó de inmediato un ataque coordinado contra el fuego mientras también trabajaba para proteger las propiedades vecinas. El incendio se contuvo y extinguio en aproximadamente 30 minutos. Además, realizaron una búsqueda exhaustiva en la casa y confirmaron que estaba vacía.
No se reportaron heridos. Se contactó a la Cruz Roja Americana para ayudar a nueve residentes que quedaron sin hogar debido al incendio.
La causa del incendio sigue bajo investigación.
