An important new link connecting existing segments of the California Missions Trail has been approved by the City of Goleta, California Design Review Board. The trail is located in an ideal location to showcase the rich layers of California’s coastal history, tracing paths once used for Native American trade, reflecting the Juan Bautista de Anza corridor, and integrating both the California Mission Trail and today’s California Coastal Trail.
