What does winter mean to you? ❄

The City of Santa Clarita invites artists to submit artwork for “Winter Expressions,” a juried exhibition exploring the many ways the winter season can inspire reflection, connection, and creativity. Whether it’s a quiet landscape or a favorite tradition, we want to see winter through your perspective! This exhibition will capture the winter season through nature, tradition and memory, while reflecting on the colors, emotions and experiences that make the season unique.

🖼 “Winter Expressions” will be on display at the Newhall Community Center from November 4, 2026 through February 24, 2027.

La Ciudad de Santa Clarita invita a artistas a compartir sus obras para “Expresiones de Invierno”, una exposición con selección por jurado que muestra cómo esta temporada nos inspira a crear, reflexionar y convivir. Ya sea un paisaje que te transmite paz o una tradición que guardas en el corazón, ¡queremos ver el invierno a través de tus ojos!

Esta exposición nos invita a ver el invierno a través de la naturaleza, las tradiciones, los recuerdos y las experiencias que hacen especial esta época del año.

🖼 “Expresiones de Invierno” se presentará en el Newhall Community Center del 4 de noviembre de 2026 al 24 de febrero de 2027.

Bring creativity to your local trailhead!🌳🏞️

Submissions are now open for the 2027 Temporary Public Art Trailhead Sculpture Project! The City of Santa Clarita will display two selected sculptures on permanent concrete pads along the City’s scenic trail system for a two-and-a-half-year exhibition cycle. Artists of all backgrounds and experience levels are strongly encouraged to apply. Information on the total compensation package is available on SantaClaritaArts.com.
