This training is for anyone interested in gaining insight and practice in understanding and reducing conflict. Participants will gain a greater understanding of how conflict works, why it happens, and practical skills to address it using an informative, interactive and fun process full of small and large group discussion and exercises.
The aim is to improve our capacity to listen without defensiveness, speak without offending, find common ground, and reach mutually satisfying solutions.
This course is a pre-requisite as part of the 40 hour

We are experiencing ever more anger and outbursts in the workplace, business and public spaces, often in response to reasonable requests. Why does it happen and what can we do in response?

De-escalation skills are a critical tool in helping guide people out of crisis and back into a calm, rational state.

With a focus on large group discussion and interactive exercises and practice in small groups, this training will give you the communication tools to de-escalate these difficult situations🕊️
