Introducing Workaround Wednesdays!

Every week, we share Microsoft shortcuts that save you time, the ones you never knew you needed.

This week: Press Ctrl + Shift + L to instantly turn any selected text into a bulleted list. No ribbon. No clicking around. Just one keyboard shortcut.

Got a shortcut you use every single day? Drop it in the comments.👇 We may feature it in a future Workaround Wednesday!

Check back each week for more Workaround Wednesday shortcuts.

Cabinet Secretary and State CIO Manny Barreras and the DOIT leadership team took the floor at the New Mexico State Capitol before the Science, Technology & Telecommunications Committee and we had a lot of good news to share.

From modernizing how state agencies access technology to improving accessibility for every New Mexican, we are building infrastructure that makes government work better for you. A sincere thank you to the DOIT leadership team for their dedication. This work does not happen without them. We look forward to sharing more updates as we keep modernizing New Mexico.

This month, OBAE participated in Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham’s “Spring Fling,” a seasonal festive event held at the Governor’s Mansion in Santa Fe to benefit New Mexico’s grandparents raising grandchildren, foster families, and members of the developmental disability community. Each participating state agency sets up a themed booth with games and prizes for attendees. For this Spring Fling, OBAE teamed up with the Department of Information Technology under the them “Technology is A-MAZE-ing,” featuring various maze puzzles and a giant Jenga game. Prizes included candy, small puzzles, sunglasses and maze puzzle books.

Other booth activities ranged from ring-tosses, soft dart throws, and corn hole, to roping, horseshoes, and coloring sheets. OBAE would like to thank all of the volunteers from both agencies and the governor for holding yet another successful event.
