A heartwarming moment from the Tusas Fire near Las Tusas, NM: firefighters worked alongside a local landowner to help rescue her goats after they wandered into the wildfire area.

We’d like to give a special shout‑out to our own Adriano Rodriguez, Fuels Assistant Fire Management Officer for the Central Zone, whose steady leadership and dedication were instrumental in the successful rescue. We're grateful for all the crews on the Tusas Fire and their commitment to protecting both people and animals in our community.
