Through our Clean and Beautiful Grant Program, the New Mexico Tourism Department supports communities across the state with litter eradication, waste reduction, and community beautification initiatives. In FY26, $341,780 is going towards litter eradication alone - and that's how we Keep New Mexico True. Happy Earth Day, New Mexico!

LCIFF photo dump? πŸŽ₯πŸ“Έ Last week, members of the New Mexico Tourism Department attended the 11th annual Las Cruces International Film Festival in Las Cruces. Each spring, the festival showcases the best in independent films across all genres, drawing audiences for five days while supporting the growth of the film industry in Southern New Mexico.

Beyond the screenings, the festival offers a robust lineup of workshops, panel discussions, and seminars, creating valuable learning opportunities for students, filmmakers, and the broader community. After welcoming a record-breaking 12,000 attendees last year, the festival surpassed that milestone again this year as it continues to grow.

The New Mexico Tourism Department proudly sponsors this event through the Tourism Event Growth and Sustainability grant program.

One of our very own New Mexico True Certified businesses made an important contribution to the historic Artemis II launch! Check out how Jack's Plastic Welding helped fabricate the recovery rafts for the flight crew upon their splashdown.

Recovery rafts made by Jack's Plastic Welding in Aztec, New Mexico, will play a vital role in retrieving astronauts from NASA's Artemis II mission. What to watch for:
