Keep Hobbs Beautiful – Spring Community Cleanup !

Join us on March 28, 2026 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and help keep Hobbs clean and beautiful! Community members are invited to volunteer and help pick up litter along the Lovington Trail and surrounding areas.

📍 Meeting Location:
Parking lot near the public restrooms
3221 N Lovington Hwy, Hobbs, NM 88240
(Look for the City of Hobbs canopy and event signage)

Cleanup Area:
Volunteers will help pick up litter along the trail and train tracks, starting at the parking lot and moving northwest toward NW County Road.

Supplies provided:
Gloves
Trash bags
Water (while supplies last)

Recommended to bring:
• Closed-toe shoes
• Hat & warm clothes
• Grabbers or a bucket (optional)

Riverblitz 2026 is coming!

Join our annual community effort to clean up litter along the beautiful Pecos River throughout Carlsbad and Eddy County.

📅 March 7th
⏰ 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
📍 Riverwalk Recreation Center
400 Riverwalk Dr., Carlsbad, NM

Cleanup supplies will be provided starting at 7 AM, so grab a friend and come help keep our river and community clean.

🍔 Lunch is on us starting at 11 AM!
The Eddy County Sheriff’s Posse will be cooking hamburgers and hot dogs for participants, with other meal options available.

🎟 Raffle prizes will also be drawn during lunch for participants!

Community members are welcome to participate and will be placed on teams, guided by experienced tree planters to plant 4–6 trees. Afterward, volunteers will be fed, it’s always a fun and meaningful community-building event!

Join us for a community collaborative cleanup! We’ll be working along St. Francis near Plaza Entrada (Albertson’s area), around Walgreens (corner of St. Francis & W. Zia), and along the Rail Trail across St. Francis.
