Today was a proud moment for these outstanding soldiers of the New Mexico Army National Guard.
They earned the Norwegian Foot March Badge (Marsjmerket) after completing 18.6 miles with a 25 lb. ruck under strict time standards. Established in 1915 to test combat readiness, this event demands endurance, discipline, and mental toughness.
These soldiers endured blisters, heavy packs, and long miles, but not a single one quit.
This is what resilience looks like. Well done representing New Mexico with pride!
