Bus routes 37 and 38 are experiencing delays this morning (10/26) due to mechanical issues.

The affected routes are:

-Route 37: Serves Amy Biehl Community School students.
-Route 38: Serves Carlos Gilbert Elementary and Gonzales Community School students.

Our Transportation Department is working to resolve the situation as quickly as possible and minimize disruptions.

Just a quick reminder that Gonzales Community School’s Fall Fiesta is almost here! We’re looking forward to a fun evening filled with games, treats, Halloween activities, and lots of fall fun!

Important update: The event will now start at 4:00 PM instead of 5:00 PM and will run until 7:00 PM.

We could still use some extra help!

If you’re available to volunteer or donate, we would really appreciate the support! Whether you’d like to decorate a trunk for Trunk or Treat, help with games or concessions, sell tickets, or donate an item, every little bit helps make this a special event for our students.

If you’re interested in helping, please sign up ASAP using the QR code on the flyer! We’d love to have you join us, and we’re thankful for everyone who helps make these events possible.

Please take note of the following schedules:

📅 Thursday, October 22: No school for students at elementary and K–8 schools. Students at Milagro, Ortiz, Mandela, ECO, Santa Fe High, and Capital High will attend school as usual.

📅 Friday, October 23: No school for ALL SFPS students.

🐺 LOBO FUN RUN UPDATE! 🐺

Hi, Lobos!

Due to the rain expected tomorrow morning, we have made the decision to move our Lobo Fun Run to Thursday, October 2nd! 🌧️➡️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We know this change may be inconvenient for families who have already taken time off work, and we truly appreciate your understanding. Our biggest priority is keeping our students, staff, and volunteers safe! We don’t want anyone getting hurt from slipping on wet surfaces or puddles, and we definitely don’t want anyone getting soaked and uncomfortable. 💙

The good news? We are still VERY excited to have our Lobo Fun Run! We’ll just be celebrating on a different day! 🎉

🙋 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
If you’re able to volunteer on October 2nd, please let your child’s teacher know. We would LOVE your help!

💰 And now we have even more time to reach our HUGE $10,000 goal!
