The Pueblo of Pojoaque R.O.A.D. Program is accepting booth applications for its 9th Annual Recovery Event, “Celebrate a Culture of Healing,” happening September 26 at the Poeh Cultural Center. Recovery Month is taking shape across New Mexico, and Albuquerque has two special events coming up next month. The Albuquerque Celebrates Recovery Art Show will be held on September 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Wheels Museum, featuring work by local artists in recovery. Artists are invited to submit pieces that reflect the many paths recovery can take. Then, on September 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m., the community will gather at Civic Plaza for the 11th Albuquerque Celebrates Recovery main event. Save both dates and keep an eye out for upcoming events in September.
