I’m running for Santa Maria Public Airport District 4 because our airport should be an economic engine for our entire community: creating good-paying local jobs, supporting our tenants and businesses, improving infrastructure, and attracting new opportunities to the Santa Maria Valley.

Public safety must always be a priority at the Santa Maria Public Airport. 🇺🇸✈️

That means making sure our airport has strong communication, coordination, and working relationships with our local first responders — including the Santa Maria Police Department and Santa Maria Fire Department.

When an emergency happens, there is no room for confusion or delay. We need to make sure the people responsible for protecting our airport, its tenants, employees, passengers, and surrounding community have the resources and coordination they need to do their jobs.

As your candidate for Santa Maria Public Airport District 4, I will make public safety a priority.

I’m Alejandro Arredondo, and I’m running for Santa Maria Public Airport District 4. As someone who grew up at the airport and whose family business has been part of this community for more than 36 years, I understand both the challenges we face and the incredible potential ahead.

My campaign is focused on getting back to the basics: improving infrastructure, strengthening public safety, creating good-paying local jobs, and working toward the return of sustainable commercial air service to Santa Maria.
