Being a CASA is about showing up for a child, not having all the answers from day one.

With the right training and ongoing support, you can make a meaningful difference in a child's life, even if you've never set foot in a courtroom before.

Ready to learn more? Visit sbcasa.org/volunteer to take the first step toward becoming a CASA!

Our youngest children need someone in their corner. Someone who will show up, speak up for their needs, and help ensure they receive the care and support they deserve.

A CASA volunteer can be that consistent, trusted adult in a child's life. You don't need prior experience to become a CASA volunteer. You just need to be willing to show up.

You can be that person for a child waiting for an advocate. Learn how to become a CASA volunteer at sbcasa.org/volunteer.

Today, our CASA staff stopped by Toyota of Santa Maria to thank them for their generosity and support in making our recent CASA Movie Night so special. Their willingness to go above and beyond is a great example of how local businesses invest in their community and the children who call it home.

Thank you, Toyota Of Santa Maria , for being such a meaningful part of our CASA community!

Not every CASA volunteer will connect best with every age group, and that’s okay! 💙

The truth is, we all have different strengths, interests, and experiences. That’s why CASA volunteers have the opportunity to choose a case and age group that best fits them. Whether you feel most comfortable connecting with younger children or teenagers, you can find a case where your strengths can make a meaningful difference in a child’s life.

Don’t let this misconception hold you back! Learn more about becoming a CASA volunteer at sbcasa.org/volunteer.

63 boys are waiting for a CASA volunteer.

Behind that number are boys in the foster care system who deserve to have someone listen to them, advocate for their needs, and show up consistently in their lives.
You don't need to have all the answers or previous experience working with children. CASA provides the training and support you need to make a difference.

Could you be one of the people who helps close the gap? Learn more about becoming a CASA volunteer at sbcasa.org/volunteer.
