A Free & Powerful Way to Support the Fight Against Diabetes
Dear Friend,
You can make a real difference for millions of people living with diabetes—without spending a single dime of your own money. Let me show you how.
At The People’s Diabetes Foundation, we rely on the generosity of people like you to fund critical research, provide patient support, and promote life-saving education. Today, I
’m asking you to help in a uniquely powerful way—by turning the items you no longer need into hope for those affected by diabetes.
Here’s your simple 5-step guide to donating without opening your wallet:
Step 1: Rally Your Team
Gather your family, friends, neighbors, or coworkers. Turn giving into a fun group project!
Step 2: Discover Hidden Treasures
Walk through your home, garage, basement, or storage unit. Look for quality items you no longer use but that still have value. Grab your phone or camera and take at least 5 clear photos from different angles.
Step 3: List for a Cause
Log into your eBay account and create your listing. Set a fair price and in the description, proudly state that the sale supports The People’s Diabetes Foundation.
Step 4: Donate 100% of the Proceeds
When listing, you’ll see an option to donate a portion of the sale. Select “YES,” then search for and select “The People’s Diabetes Foundation.” When asked what percentage to donate, please choose 100%. That’s it—your entire sale becomes a direct contribution.
Step Five: Ship with Ease
Once sold, allow the buyer to choose their preferred shipping method. Your effort turns an unused item into vital funds for our mission.
I’m Fredrick Flowers, Chief Financial Officer of The People’s Diabetes Foundation in California. We’re exploring every possible avenue to raise funds that directly support those living with diabetes. Your pledge and creativity help keep our doors open and our programs running.
Thank you for your kindness and support. Together, we can create a healthier future.
With gratitude,
