Join us for Resource Recovery and Recycling's compost giveaway! The compost is first come first serve while supplies last, so make sure to come early.

If you're picking up compost, please bring gloves and containers — this is a self-service event.

We're also giving away FREE food scrap pails to make collecting food scarps at home seamless.

This event is open to Santa Monica residents; please bring proof of residency.

A housing ballot measure filed January 15 would carve up and drastically reduce the size and potential of the future Great Park, undermining and dismantling the 192-acre Great Park Draft Framework illustrated below.

Santa Monica voters chose to close the airport so this land could become a Great Park for everyone. Every acre counts.
