Bay School– Time to Apply & Register!
2026–2027 School Year
It’s time to apply for VPK!
Eligibility:
Your child must be 4 years old by September 1, 2026 and must not have previously been enrolled in a VPK program or entered Kindergarten.
Step 1: Apply for VPK
Apply online at: https://www.elc-ec.org/parents/voluntary-prekindergarten/
• Create a Family Portal account
• Complete the VPK application
• Upload required documents
• Once approved, check your email for your Certificate of Eligibility and print it
Step 2: Register at the school of your choice
Be sure to bring ALL required documents. Partial packets will NOT be accepted.
Required Documents:
• Certificate of Eligibility (Early Learning Coalition of the Emerald Coast)
• Child’s Birth Certificate or Passport
• Child’s Social Security Card (recommended)
• Parent/Guardian Photo ID
• Proof of Florida Residency (lease or utility bill)
• Florida Certificate of Immunizations (DH680)
• Florida School Entry Physical (within 1 year of entry)

💚 Today marks the end of a very special chapter, our last day of Pre-K!

🫶🏼It feels like just yesterday we were walking through those doors for the first time. Since then, there have been so many smiles, friendships, lessons, songs, and memories that we will cherish forever.

🎉 Yesterday, our sweet preschoolers got to congratulate the graduating seniors at South Walton High School.

💚 They held our hands, showed us big smiles and reminded us that one day we will be seniors.

👩🏼‍🎓 Right now we may be just learning our ABC’s and counting to 10, but soon we will be walking the halls in our cap and gowns to! Congratulations Seniors!

🎉 Today we kicked off our end-of-the-year performances, and Ms. Amy & Ms. Beth’s class proudly shared all of their learning with a fun and exciting Alphabet Parade!

⭐️ From A to Z, our little learners showed off everything they have learned this year with big smiles, confidence, and lots of creativity. We are so proud of all their hard work and the sweet memories made along the way!
