🌿✨ Eco-Printing with Foliage – A Silk Sash ✨🌿

Join local fiber artist Sydni Gause for an introduction to the art of Eco-Printing! Using locally grown and foraged botanicals and foliage, participants will create dynamic patterns on a 5” x 72” silk sash that can be worn as a belt, tied around a hat, or displayed as two-dimensional art. 🎨🍃

📣 Calling All Artists 📣 New America 250 Exhibition at Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport

The Cultural Arts Alliance, in partnership with Bay Arts Alliance and Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP), is calling artists to submit artwork for a special exhibition celebrating America’s 250th Birthday and Florida’s unique role in our nation’s history, culture, and future. 🎨✨🇺🇸

Inspired by the Florida Department of Transportation’s America 250 Florida campaign, this exhibition will showcase original artwork reflecting the spirit of the State of Florida and commemorating the Semiquincentennial of the United States. 🐊🐠🌴

Selected works will be displayed at Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) during one of the busiest travel seasons of the year, providing exceptional exposure for participating artists.

Meet CAA Member Artist Mindy Moore 👋

As an abstract acrylic artist, Mindy Moore is known for her captivating exploration of mental landscapes. Through her paintings, she transforms thoughts into visual expressions, inviting viewers to consider what a thought might look like if it had a physical form. Each piece serves as a window into the complexity of the mind, blending color, texture, and shape in dynamic ways to capture the ephemeral nature of ideas, thoughts, and emotions. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from Middle Tennessee State University, Mindy Moore made the move to Santa Rosa Beach, Florida where she’s lived for the past 20 years. She’s been actively involved with the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County since 2020. Moore’s work has been exhibited at the Foster Gallery, Emerald Coast Theater Company, and J Leon Gallery. She has participated in ArtsQuest by teaching classes and exhibiting work in the CAA Members’ Tent. Moore’s notable awards include "People's Choice" at the Foster Gallery in 2020 and a “Best of Show” ribbon in the members’ tent at ArtsQuest 2023. Moore’s creative process is intuitive and free-flowing, reflecting her belief in the healing power of self-expression. By immersing herself in her work, she discovers new dimensions of her own thoughts and feelings.

🌟 Mission Moment: CAA x CVHN Camp Girl Power 🌟

The CAA's mission is to foster creativity in Walton County through the inclusive and collaborative advancements of the Arts 🎨♥️🎭

💖 Children’s Volunteer Health Network (CVHN) and the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) recently partnered to produce Camp Girl Power, a new, free, joy-filled experience designed to spark creativity, confidence, and connection in rising 3rd–5th grade girls across Walton County.

💖 Each camp was packed with empowering activities, including yoga, hands-on art projects, music, and wellness experiences—all designed to help young girls build confidence, make new friends, and celebrate the power of being themselves.

💖 This program was the result of a creative collaboration between the Cultural Arts Alliance and Children’s Volunteer Health Network, with generous support from the Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation’s Galentines Fundraiser, The St. Joe Community Foundation, and Walmart. Additional support is provided by 30A Company, Beach Happy Cafe, Detailed Creative, Eglin Federal Credit Union, Fishers Flowers & Events, Studio 30A, and Sweet Henrietta’s.
