Better access to health care helps strengthen our entire business community. Yesterday, the Walton Area Chamber was honored to help celebrate Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast and Walton County’s only hospital delivering Joint Commission-certified Primary Stroke Center care.

When every second matters, having lifesaving, specialized stroke care close to home makes a real difference for our residents, workforce, families, and visitors.

This certification reflects incredible teamwork, preparation, and community partnership.

The connections and conversations were flowing even faster than the coffee! We had a wonderful turnout for our second-ever Connect Over Coffee: DeFuniak, and we loved seeing so many businesses that are part of DeFuniak or proudly support it come together to share their Ask & Offer.

Mark your calendars for our next Connect Over Coffee on July 28 at Eagle Springs Golf Course. We can’t wait to keep the conversations brewing!
