🌳 Trees offer big benefits for neighborhoods and the environment. Help protect your trees when removing lawn by avoiding: damaging roots by digging or scraping under the tree canopy; removing lawn without updating irrigation; cutting off irrigation too quickly; adding hardscape or stone directly around base of tree; chemical or soil damage from herbicides or soil compaction.
