Welcome to 2025 everyone! For 2025 we are merging the two Sonoma County Sister District chapters into one strong county-wide chapter. After Friday May 9, this page will be inactive. In the face of unchecked Republican power in Washington, the future of our democracy runs through the states. It’s critical to continue building Democratic power in the states. Now is our time.

Founded in 2016 as Sister District, renamed States Win in 2026, we're a national nonprofit focused on flipping state legislatures to blue. Our Sonoma chapter meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. For more info or to join, visit www.stateswin.org.

The Sister District works to turn states blue by winning state legislative elections. We “sister" with vulnerable candidates, to support their election.

Join Sister District Sonoma County East for a Walk for Democracy!!

What: Come join us for a walk in the park – by yourselves or with a group – or just gather in a nice place together for good morning refreshments! All donations go directly to our candidates, running for state legislature in swing states.

When: 8-11am Sunday September 15

Where: Howarth Park, Santa Rosa – exact location will be shared when you register.

Breaking: President Joe Biden has dropped out of the 2024 Presidential race and has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris.

VP Harris is an inspiring and prepared leader who will bring valuable experience to the White House.

We believe she can win, and we are supporting her by energizing voters in the most strategic districts in battleground states where we need to win up and down the ticket.

We have just over 100 days to make 2024 a banner year for American democracy and reject the MAGA agenda at every level.
