The Gold Ridge 4-H Garden Project finished their project with a bang.

Members created a mini garden for our annual Chicken Que BBQ. This year’s design celebrated a red, white, and que theme, bringing together colorful flowers, creative displays, and community spirit for the community to enjoy!

Thank you to our clubs who donated their club gardens to local nursing and senior living communities, and other community organizations to enjoy 💚

🧁Liberty 4-H Cake Decorating🧁

Members practiced using a variety of pastry tips to decorate mini cupcakes, following a design that helped them stay within their circle.

Once their pastry bags were filled with icing, the creativity really took off—colors, patterns, and unique designs came to life!

Each member decorated 8 mini cupcakes, arranged them on a board with a paper doily, and added flower stems and leaves to complete their pull-apart flower designs.

Best part? Everyone leaves each meeting with a sweet, delicious treat they created themselves!

Two Rock 4-H Outdoor Adventures members enjoyed a hit the trail for a 2.5-mile hike through Armstrong Redwoods in Guerneville.

Along the way, they learned how to estimate the age of redwood trees by counting the rings in their trunks and picked up a new outdoor skill—tying an Alpine Butterfly knot.

A photo collage that captures just some of the moments from this past weekend at the Healdsburg Future Farmers Country Fair.

Fair time means so many things for youth. It highlights their creativity through still exhibits, their dedication and perseverance in raising livestock, and their willingness to step outside their comfort zones in events like Round Robin while handling unfamiliar animals.

It is also about learning, building friendships, teamwork, mentoring, parade fun, cheering on and supporting each other, and long fair days spent balancing projects alongside school, sports, FFA, work, and all of life’s other activities and commitments.

Fairs bring our community together in support of youth participating in hands-on learning programs and helps continue the strong agricultural traditions that have long been part of our county.

Congratulations to all of the exhibitors for your hard work, commitment, and accomplishments.
