Calistoga Road Pavement Rehabilitation & Utility Improvement Project
Construction Update – June 18, 2026

Crews are currently performing underground sewer pipeline replacement work at the intersection of Dupont Drive and Calistoga Road. During this work, the traffic signal has been set to flashing red - please treat the intersection as a four-way stop.

Motorists entering and exiting Dupont Drive at Calistoga Road will be detoured east to St. Francis Road while the work at the intersection is underway. Through vehicles traveling on Calistoga Road will not be detoured.

Once work at the Dupont Drive intersection is complete, crews will continue installing the underground sewer pipeline south along Calistoga Road toward Marit Drive. Following that, crews will begin installing new sewer laterals along Calistoga Road between Monte Verde Drive and Marit Drive.

Please note: Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather and other unforeseen circumstances.

Big progress at the future Hearn Community Hub! 🚧

Recently, key stakeholders signed and set in place major structural elements for both the Roseland Regional Library and Fire Station 8—marking an exciting step forward for this community-centered project.

At the library, a central wood apex beam was signed before installation, while at Fire Station 8, the steel beam was signed by Command Staff and the fire crew who will soon call the new station home.

These milestones bring us one step closer to opening doors to a new library, enhanced public safety services, and a vibrant community space in Roseland. Stay tuned as construction continues!

🚧 Construction Starting on Pierson Street Rehabilitation

Work is kicking off on a $1.9 million project to modernize underground utilities and rebuild the Pierson Street roadway—bringing important upgrades to this key corridor.

Originally brought into the City through the 2017 Roseland Annexation, the project reflects continued investment in upgrading infrastructure to current standards. Crews will replace aging sewer, water, and storm drain systems while improving the roadway and pedestrian spaces to make the street safer and more accessible.

Construction is expected to continue through fall 2026, weather and other unforeseen conditions permitting. We’ll share updates along the way—thank you for your patience as this work gets underway!
