Congratulations!

Police Chief Alvaro Garcia represented the Santa Rosa Police Department at the
50th Annual Texas Police Games
held last week at South Padre Island bringing home the following:

4 Gold Medals (1st place in age division)

Events:
5k
400 meters
800 meters
1500 meters

This was his 3rd time participating in the games. He now has 10 Gold Medals total.

He competed against officers from all over the State.

Way to go Chief!

Thank you to our Public Works & City of Weslaco for the routine cleaning and maintenance of the drain lines have begun today in the placita area and will continue throughout the city. Residents are reminded not to pour grease, oils, chemicals, or other debris down drains, as these materials can clog the drainage system. Remember, these ongoing cleanings help keep the drainage systems clean. Thank you to our City Manager , City council and City Staff for making this happen.
