🔥 FIRE RESTRICTIONS NOW IN EFFECT IN UTAH COUNTY 🔥

Due to extremely dry conditions and elevated wildfire danger, Stage 1 Fire Restrictions are now in effect for unincorporated areas of Utah County. These restrictions prohibit activities that can spark wildfires, including open fires, fireworks, exploding targets, smoking in certain areas, and operating spark-producing equipment without an approved spark arrestor.

Additionally, a separate fire restriction order is in place for the Lake Mountain Range Area, where the use of steel ammunition and steel targets is prohibited on state lands and unincorporated private lands within the restricted area. The restriction does not apply to the Utah County Soldier Pass Public Shooting Range.

Please do your part to help prevent wildfires and protect our community.

🚛 Republic Container Removal Reminder

As Santaquin City transitions to Waste Management service, Republic Services will begin collecting their containers following their final pickup at the end of June.

After your final Republic pickup:

✅ Empty your Republic containers
✅ Leave them at the curb
✅ Do not place additional trash or recycling inside
✅ Keep containers curbside until they are collected

Republic will begin removing containers throughout the city after final June service. Because all containers must be collected citywide, the removal process may take up to 3 weeks to complete.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work through this transition.
