📚 Check class assignments in PowerSchool. Can’t find it? No worries! Staff will be onsite to help.

💧 Make sure kids bring a refillable water bottle and wear light, comfortable clothing—it’s going to be hot!

😴 Get your kids to bed early tonight so they're rested and ready to go.

🌟 Encourage kids to come ready to learn, grow and have a great year!

🌿 Join Us for School Beautification Day! 🎨🧹

Help us get our campuses ready to welcome students back for an amazing school year! On Saturday, August 8, from 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m., volunteers of all ages are invited to lend a hand with landscaping, painting, cleaning, and other campus improvement projects.

Whether you can stay for an hour or the whole morning, your time and talents will make a lasting difference for our students, staff, and families.

🎒📚 School starts with confidence—and Buddy's Backpacks is here to help! 💙

East County families are invited to the Buddy's Backpacks Giveaway on Saturday, August 1, beginning at 8 a.m. at Rio Seco School (9545 Cuyamaca Street).

✨ FREE backpacks filled with school supplies will be available for K–12 students while supplies last.

🚗 This is a drive-thru event, and students must be present to receive a backpack.

A huge thank you to the Santee Mobilehome Owners Action Committee (SMOAC) and all of the volunteers and community partners who make this annual event possible. Wishing all students a great start to the new school year! 💙🍎

📢 Community Notice

Over the next week, Santee School District will be testing the paging and speaker systems at our school campuses. During these tests, you may hear announcements, tones, or other sounds coming from our schools. If you notice any unusual noise, please do not be alarmed—these are planned system tests.

Additionally, on July 14 and July 17, the San Diego Sheriff's Office will be conducting training exercises at select District campuses. You may notice law enforcement vehicles and personnel on site during these trainings. These are scheduled training activities only, and there is no threat to our schools or community.
