The Santee Chamber of Commerce is aware of concerns regarding recent thefts affecting local businesses. Our hearts go out to those affected, and we strongly encourage business owners to contact the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department whenever a theft or other crime occurs. Reporting through the proper channels allows law enforcement to document patterns, investigate incidents, and take appropriate action. Our deputies are here to protect and serve our community, and we appreciate their continued efforts. We remain hopeful that these matters will be resolved quickly and encourage our business community to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
🚨 See Something? Report It Directly to Law Enforcement
Social media is a great place to share information with your community, but it is not a crime-reporting tool.
If you witness a crime, suspicious activity or have been the victim of a crime in Santee, please report it directly to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office (SDSO). Reporting through the proper channels helps ensure law enforcement is aware of the incident, creates an official record and allows deputies to respond or follow up as appropriate.
đźš” Emergency: Call 9-1-1
📞 Non-emergency: Call 858-868-3200
Please don’t rely on a social media post or tag to report a crime. SDSO does not monitor social media as a crime-reporting channel.
Help us spread the word: Report first. Post second.
