Youth Services of Creek County

Youth Services of Creek County YSCC is a non profit 501 (c) 3 agency, partner of the Tulsa Area United Way, and a National Safe PLace. All services are free.

The Children’s Emergency Resource Center temporarily houses youth 0-17 in need of a more permanent home. While in the Bartlett shelter youth attend school, participate in recreational activities and adjustment counseling, learn and practice life and independent living skills. The Outreach Counseling Program provides free counseling in schools across Creek County. Thus, reducing barriers and ensu

ring all children in need receive services. The It’s My Life Program is where a youth may be referred if they find themself on the wrong side of the law. Youth who have committed their first offense can be referred by a Judge, JSU, school or parent to attend this program with their legal guardian. This progam helps youth make the connection between action and consequences, learn communication skills, and conflict resolution. A great program to improve parent/child communication skills!

💙 Meet the Amazing RAs of Youth Services of Creek County! 💙

We would love for you to meet some of the incredible people who help make our shelter feel like a safe and caring place for the youth we serve!

Our RAs truly are the backbone of our shelter. Every day, they balance countless shelter responsibilities while still making sure our kids feel seen, heard, supported, and cared for. ❤️

From being a listening ear during a difficult moment, offering encouragement when it’s needed most, helping with everyday routines, or taking our kiddos to experience something they may have never had the opportunity to do before—our RAs show up with love, patience, compassion, and a willingness to help.

Thank you all for choosing to be there for our youth during some of the most difficult and uncertain times in their lives. The work you do matters, and the love you pour into our kiddos makes a difference every single day. 🫶

Road trips are always an adventure at YSCC! 🚗🎶❤️

Between the hype music — even though one of the kiddos informed us that our music was “buns”… whatever that means 😂 — the laughter, conversations, and getting to see something new together, road trips always seem to make the day a little better!

Yesterday, we took a trip to the halfway point of historic Route 66 and got to check out the beautiful Route 66 Public Art Trail! 🛣️✨ We loved getting out, exploring, learning a little history, and making some memories together.

Sometimes it’s the simple things — piling in the car, laughing way too much, taking pictures, and experiencing something new — that make the best memories. 💙

✨ Supporting Those Who Support Our Community ✨

YSCC was honored to attend the 60th Annual Charity Ball: Sapphire Ball, held at The Oaks Country Club and celebrating an incredible 60 years of joy, generosity, and service to our community. 💙✨

The evening was a beautiful reminder of just how much can be accomplished when organizations, community leaders, and supporters come together with one shared purpose — making our community a better place for those we serve.

Representing YSCC were Executive Director Erin Brook, Assistant Director Deborah Funk, Board Chair Amy Hoehner, Board Vice Chair Michaela Tillison, and Secretary/Treasurer Josh Frazier.

While we didn’t get a photo of everyone, we are so thankful for their continued leadership, support, and dedication to YSCC and to the community we all call home.

We were proud to spend the evening supporting SHOW, celebrating their impact, and recognizing 60 years of giving back to others.

At YSCC, we believe that when we support one another, celebrate one another, and work together, the entire community becomes stronger. 💙
