•A pleasant environment for children and adults learning to read

•A consistent level of high-quality service to make everyone's experience at the library as easy, pleasant, and as comfortable as possible

•An environment where parents will work with their children to promote learning experiences on the computer together

•An environment that encourages reading, learning and thinking

🛣️🎉Adult Summer Reading Program Route 66 Quiz Info 🎉🛣️

Grab your pit crew and cruise on over for a fun-filled Route 66 trivia showdown! Questions will cover Route 66 history, pop culture, Oklahoma facts, Sapulpa trivia, and more.

🚗 Adult Teams must have 3–5 players, first come, first served
🛑 Maximum of 6 teams total
📋 Preregistration open June 1 - July 11 with Rt. 66-themed team name required. ([email protected])
📱 No phones, internet searches, or outside help during gameplay
🏆 Winning team receives ultimate bragging rights and a special prize basket
🎁 All participating teams will receive prizes while supplies last

📚🛣️ Join us Saturday, June 6 at 11 a.m. in Frank Hall for the kickoff of the Sapulpa Public Library Adult Summer Reading Program, “Get Your Books on Route 66!”

We are excited to welcome local author Kirby Lee Davis for a special book reading and signing. Books will be available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting the Sapulpa Historical Society and Sapulpa Main Street.

“Get Your Books on Route 66”

Hit the literary highway this summer with the Sapulpa Public Library Adult Summer Reading Program (SRP)!

Enjoy books, crafts, prizes, and Route 66-themed fun all summer long. Participation in crafts and programs is optional, but they are a fun addition to the reading challenge!

📍 Registration
June 1, 2026 – June 30, 2026
Register at the Main Circulation Desk or via the myLibro App.

📚 Reading Program Dates
June 1 – July 31

✅ Requirements
• Participant must be 18+ and have a Sapulpa Public Library card
• Patron account and related accounts must be in good standing
• Read and log 4 (four) Young Adult or Adult books
• Library staff will stamp each location on your Route 66 map for each completed book

📝 Return Completed Log Book
July 6 – 31

Completed log books MUST be returned before 4:45 p.m. Friday, July 31 to the Upper Level Circulation Desk to redeem for a prize.

🎁 Prizes are available while supplies last. No rain checks.

🎉 End of Summer Bash
August 8 at 11 a.m.

Adult participants who complete the reading program and return their completed log book before 4:45 p.m. July 31 will recieve a prize. They will also be entered into the Adult Summer Reading Bash drawing. We will draw for prizes that are related to our SRP theme. Must be present to win. Light refreshment provided.

📅 Adult Summer Craft and Program Schedule
All Adult SRP programs are at 11 a.m. in Frank Hall on the Lower Level of Sapulpa Public Library.

Please RSVP for crafts. Once you recieve a confirmation email, we will have a craft packet for you at the event.

Must pre-register your Route 66 Quiz team. Limited space. See info below.

• June 1 – July 31 — Read & Log Books
• June 6 — Adult SRP Kickoff with Author Kirby Lee Davis
• June 13 — Neon Rope Light Craft
• June 19 & 20 — CLOSED for Juneteenth
• June 27 — Glove Box Bag & Key Chain Craft

• July 3 & 4 — CLOSED for Independence Day
• July 6 – 31 — Return Log Book for Prize
• July 11 — Tea Towel Craft
• July 18 — Memory Box Craft
• July 25 — Route 66 Quiz (must preregister your team of 3 - 5 players - June 15 - July 10) Limited to first 6 teams. Free for participating teams. Route 66-themed team names encouraged.
