Great Expectations / Expectation #5: “We will help one another whenever possible.”
Kindergarten read The Berenstain Bears Lend a Helping Hand, a sweet story about the Bear family learning that helping others may take a little extra time and effort, but lending a helping hand can make a BIG difference!
We talked about all the different ways we can be helpers at school, at home, and in our community. Then we made our own handprint trees! 🌳🖐️ Our handprints became the leaves on our trees as a reminder that our little hands can do BIG things when we use them to help others!
We are growing more than little learners in Kindergarten—we are growing kind hearts and helping hands! 💚
