🚨 Kalioka Road Update: 🚧

Equipment is still onsite and crews are continuing to use fresh rock and drainpipes to improve drainage along the road. Hopefully, it won’t be much longer before Kalioka Road is ready for everyone to use again.

While the wait can be frustrating, I am hopeful that getting the job done right the first time will help keep the road open and in good shape for many years to come, without the same issues coming back.

🎉 Great news for Saraland!

We are incredibly fortunate to have our project funded through the State of Alabama’s GOMESA program!
The City of Saraland is receiving $2.5 million for improvements to Walter Cofield Park and the Boat Launch.
This funding will help renovate and improve the boat launch and surrounding facilities, making the area safer, more accessible and more enjoyable for residents and visitors who use our waterways.
A lot of work goes on behind the scenes at the City that residents don’t always get to see. From identifying opportunities and developing projects to putting together funding applications and this $2.5 million award is a reflection of that hard work and dedication.
We are thankful for the State of Alabama and everyone who helped make this investment in Saraland possible.
