A check to the village for an important cybersecurity assessment was delivered yesterday!

Dave, Head Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator, submitted the grant application for the SECURE Cybersecurity Grants Program through the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation (NYSEFC).

With the SECURE Cybersecurity grant awarded, President and Chief Executive Officer for NYSEFC, Maureen Coleman, talked about the importance of cybersecurity for municipalities as she presented the check to Mayor Kelly Brunette, with Assemblymember Michael Cashman and NYSEFC team members Marie and Paul standing by.

The village will use the grant funds to perform an assessment and identify any outstanding cybersecurity needs for an implementation grant with NYSEFC, which has also leveraged grant funding for various water projects in our community!
