Today, the Venice-Nokomis Rotary Club had the privilege of awarding $50,000 in Investment in Youth Grants to outstanding local organizations dedicated to supporting, educating, mentoring, and empowering the young people in our community.

These grants are funded entirely through the generosity of our sponsors, community partners, volunteers, and everyone who supports Venice-Nokomis Rotary events throughout the year. Every fundraiser, sponsorship, and donation helps us give back and make a lasting impact where it matters most—our youth.

What a way to kick off summer camp! Today more than 30 campers joined us for a full day of learning, exploration, and fun.

Groups got up close look at the SWAT vehicle, toured the jail, visited the courthouse with Judge Padar and more. And this is only day 1! We can’t wait to see what the rest of the week has in store.

Teen Attorney Training prepares student volunteers to participate in Teen Court by learning courtroom procedures, questioning techniques, professionalism, and communication skills. No prior experience is required.
