Meet Ryan Roby, FSPA At-Large Director on the Executive Committee and a dedicated leader representing Gorman Co. in Tampa.
Ryan has served on the FSPA Board of Directors since 2019, holding roles as Chapter Secretary (2019–2021), Chapter Treasurer (2022), and Chapter President (2023–2025), continuing his leadership today on the Executive Committee.
His passion for FSPA leadership comes from a desire to strengthen the association from the ground up, especially through expanding online education and increasing the value FSPA delivers to its members. He is also energized by initiatives that help grow and elevate the association, including potential affiliation opportunities that support long-term industry strength.
💬 Ryan’s advice for members interested in leadership:
“Anyone interested in a leadership role in FSPA should be ready for the commitment. The fulfillment comes from giving back to an industry that has provided so much for those in it.”
Outside of his professional role, Ryan has recently taken up indoor hydroponic gardening, growing fresh salads, tomatoes, and peppers at home. 🌶
🎓 Looking ahead, Ryan is especially passionate about expanding FSPA’s scholarship program and strengthening partnerships like FBA (Future Builders of America) to help build the next generation of industry professionals.
