📢 Labor Day Office Closure 📢

All Safe Children Coalition offices will be closed on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. Our offices will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8.

Our next 8-week Virtual Foster Parenting Class begins October 22, 2026, with Thanksgiving week off. This class is designed to help you understand the foster care experience, prepare for the challenges and rewards of fostering, and learn how you can make a meaningful difference in a child’s life.

Classes are held virtually on Thursdays from 6–9 p.m.

The interwebs has announced that today is . It's a day set aside to honor our coastlines and promote environmental care. Whatever activity you choose to honor this day, remember to be safe. If you and your family choose to be in or near the water, remember to only swim in designated locations with a lifeguard, and/or designate watchers to keep everyone, especially young ones, safe. Be sure you pay attention to signs that indicate you should not enter the water too.
