Our Quarter 1 Pep Rally was more than just a celebration of school spirit. It was a celebration of our students, our progress, and the incredible community we’re building together!

From recognizing our fall sports teams and special student groups to celebrating the successes and growth we’ve experienced throughout the first quarter, this was a reminder of what makes Booker High School so special.

We’re not just celebrating where we are. We’re celebrating how far we’ve come and the possibilities of where we’re going!

The energy, pride, and unity of our Tornado family were on full display! Here’s to continuing the momentum and making Quarter 2 even better!

Booker High School is proud to announce that Jessica Hoover, History Teacher, has been selected as the school's 2026-2027 Teacher of the Year.

Ms. Hoover's dedication to student success, passion for teaching history, and commitment to creating meaningful learning experiences have made a lasting impact on the Booker High School community. Through engaging lessons, strong relationships with students, and a dedication to academic excellence, she inspires students to think critically, explore the past, and become informed citizens of the future.

"Jessica exemplifies the very best of what it means to be an educator," said school administration. "Her enthusiasm for teaching, unwavering support of students, and contributions to our school community make her truly deserving of this recognition."
