Recently we held our Annual Awards Banquet, and several achievements from 2025 were recognized. Please join us in congratulating: Critical Care Paramedic David McNamara, Engineer Alec Olsen, Battalion Chief Ryan Rackman, Firefigher/AEMT Josh Cluff, and Engineer Brian Holliday on receiving the “Incident of the Year” Award.

This past August, Saratoga Spring’s firefighters responded to a large-scale apartment complex fire in Eagle Mountain. Upon arrival, it was confirmed that there was a victim needing rescue. All five of these firefighters quickly packed up and entered the apartment complex on an unprotected search. Through bravery, skill, and endurance - these firefighters were able to work together to locate the victim (who was now unconscious within a bedroom closet) and safely remove him from the structure. Due to these five firefighters demonstrating great courage and composure under extreme fire conditions and pressure, a life was saved. This rescue will go down in history and not be forgotten.
