Saratoga Springs Police Officers are on a call for service on Thoroughbred Drive investigating an assault. The situation is contained but ongoing. No danger or threats to the greater public are known at this time. Please avoid the area while our officers work to render the scene safe. Thank you.

UPDATE: Nelson Avenue has been re-opened. Police & Fire are still on scene.

Nelson Avenue is currently closed between Gridley Street and Crescent Avenue as the Saratoga Springs Fire Department battles a fire at 25 Nelson Avenue.

Please give our first responders plenty of room to work and utilize Jefferson Street for travel.

Our Animal Control Officer is currently in a foot pursuit with this male dog in the area of Tiffany Place near Geyser Rd. Looking for the owner’s assistance in capturing him and getting him home safely!
