Saratoga Springs Republican Committee

Saratoga Springs Republican Committee The Saratoga Springs Republican Committee official page. We believe the government exists to serve the people it represents. It takes a community.

We believe in helping people to help themselves. We believe in protecting the most vulnerable of our citizens at a responsible cost to the taxpayers. We believe that by working together as a community we can solve problems. We believe less government is better. We embrace all segments of our community regardless of race, gender, age, or other factors. We believe that dedication and hard work is th

e answer to resolving the is-sues in our community. We believe in promoting a strong economic environment. We believe in fostering private enterprise and small business. We believe in lower taxes and less government regulations. We believe in transparency which is essential in local government so we can see where and how our tax dollars are being spent. We believe our veterans are due respect and we support our veterans and are grateful for the service they have provided. We believe in safer schools in which our children are protected. We believe in preserving the charm and historic nature of the City of Saratoga Springs. We are all here because of what ‘Saratoga Springs’ means to us, whether it’s a great place to raise our family in a safe environment as a newcomer, a generational home base to native Saratogians, or the economics of our downtown area, Saratoga has brought us here because of its special draw. We believe in protecting and promoting what is in the best interest of our city and this community. We believe that adding revenue streams is not always the answer to government and we support and promote the streamlined use of our tax dollars being used wisely. We support economic development in our downtown core and support economic growth and prosperity. We believe that making our downtown attractive to additional business is important. We support our ‘City in the Country’ development plan and encourage the use of our greenbelt area for recreation and pleasure whether it be biking, hiking, or trail use. We believe the commission form of our city government and current city charter have served Saratoga Springs well, and we are committed to this commission form of government. We believe in the Constitution of the United States of America and will fight to uphold the freedoms, independence, and liberties it provides.
