We 💙 our volunteers! Last night, we hosted our annual FCC Volunteer Appreciation Party at The Parting Glass Pub to honor the year-round dedication and hard work of our volunteers. Volunteers enjoyed appetizers, drinks, ice cream, test-your-FCC-knowledge contests, and party favors for a fun evening of celebration and socialization. Thank you volunteers for all you do!

Special thanks to Ben & Jerry's for donating the ice cream, Spring Street Deli And Pizzeria for donating gift cards for the party favors, and Harveys Restaurant and Bar and First Fill Spirits for donating gift cards for the contest prizes!

We 💙 our volunteers! In May, we hosted our Food Pantry and Free Store volunteers for program-specific appreciation events and shared exciting updates with our dedicated volunteer team.

We’re about to enter an exciting new chapter for the Food Pantry and at “Appetizers & Announcements”, we exclusively shared the big news with the volunteers before we’ll share it with the public soon.

We also unveiled the final result of the Free Store Makeover Project at “Treats & Transformation” with the volunteers before we officially reopened to the public for shopping and donations.

We’re off to a great start! We’ve got carrots, garlic, zucchini, and more growing, with tomatoes, beans, and flowers coming soon.

This garden is maintained by an amazing team of dedicated volunteers whose hard work keeps it thriving all season long. We’re grateful for everything they do and look forward to another season of growing fresh produce, learning together, and sharing what we harvest with our community. 🥕🧄🥒🍅
