Get into the holiday spirit with us at the Sardinia Library on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 3–5 PM at our Stocking Stuffer Christmas Crafting day! We’ll have all the supplies you need to make festive creations, including Gingerbread Houses, Snowman Mittens, Button Wreath ornaments, & more! Jingles, the Christmas Elf, will also make the trip from the North Pole for a special craft!
Bring your holiday cheer and creativity — we’ll handle the rest! Perfect for kids, families, and anyone who loves a little Christmas crafting fun.

Due to the weather that is coming this weekend, we have decided to cancel our annual Christmas parade for this Saturday December 13th, sorry for any inconvenience. Please stay warm and stay safe if you have to be out traveling.

ATTENTION SARDINIA...PLEASE SHARE!

🎄We are less than a week and a half away from our Annual Christmas in the Village on Saturday, December 13, 2025🎄

We have been working extra diligent with the community to make this year's celebration even better!

The event will be held in the middle of Sardinia starting at 4pm.

We will be having the following for everyone to enjoy......
❄️Sardinia Library will be having a Bingo Christmas Walk around town with local businesses
❄️Free hot dogs, chips, popcorn, cotton candy, shaved ice, coffee, hot coco and water
❄️Baked goods, such as cookies, cakes and pies for donation
❄️Activities and goodie bags for the kids
❄️Live nativity scene
❄️Town decorated for the Christmas season
🎶 Christmas music provided by MJ the DJ

❄️Prizes will be awarded for the Bingo Christmas and Parade floats after the parade is finished approximately 6pm. (Must be present to win!)

The Eastern Joint Fire and EMS District will be hosting the parade starting at 5pm with the delivery of Santa and Mrs. Clause to light this year's Christmas tree.

There will be opportunities to have pictures with Santa and Mrs. Clause after the parade.

💥With this being a free event for the public, we will not be having any market vendors setting up. 💥

Trick-or-Treat is about to start in town at 6pm. We are going to have good weather this year! There will be people at the Church as well.

Join us for Trunk or Treat tomorrow night! If you want to come set up and give out candy please be there by 5:30 pm. All are welcome.

Several of the churches of Sardinia are getting together and are hosting a back to school prayer gathering at Sardinia Elementary School on Tri-County Highway on August 12th at 6:30 pm in the parking lot. All are invited to attend. We will spend some time in prayer for our school and community as the children, staff, faculty, bus drivers and others start their new year.

Coming up this weekend is Ohio's Free Fishing Days, Saturday, June 14 & Sunday June 15. Residents can fish any public body of water including all of Ohio's public lakes, streams, rivers and reservoirs without a fishing license. It's a good time to take the spouse or that teenager and catch some fish without having to purchase a fishing license. Ohio has over 200 bodies of public fishing water to choose from. In Adams County there is Adams Lake at Adams Lake State Park, Wi******er Reservoir, Tranquility Wildlife Area ponds, and stretches of Ohio Brush Creek that have public access. Also included in this is the Ohio River from the Ohio shoreline.

The Town Wide Yard Sale has also been rescheduled to go with this event. We hope to see many visitors this weekend. There will be several vendors with holistic products, bakers and fresh lemonade! If you want to help these vendors out even more, paying cash means no fees and more in the pocket of your local community.

Rain, rain stay away! We have a Farmers Market this Saturday!

Make sure to come check out the first market of the season, this Saturday starting at 10am!

💥Featuring vendors such as KB's Sourdough Bakes, Cosmic Cookies, Feral & Free LLC - Natural Products, local produce and much more!

💥Sardinia Hope Church will be grilling hamburgers, hot dogs for donation.
