The Sardis Municipal Court is officially back open following the completion of necessary repairs.

The Sardis Court Clerk will be available at City Hall to assist citizens while repairs are being made to the Sardis Municipal Court office.

Please note: The Sardis Municipal Court office will be closed until the air conditioning has been repaired.

🎭 Meet the Director of The Addams Family Musical! 🎭
Panola Playhouse is thrilled to introduce Rebecca Edmunds, the director of our upcoming production of The Addams Family Musical!

Rebecca has been performing on stage for over 20 years. She attended Missouri State University to study Musical Theatre Performance before moving back home to start a family. Some of Rebecca’s favorite roles include Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Little Red Riding Hood in Into the Woods, Alice in Brightstar, and Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd. She recently directed She Loves Me at Kudzu Playhouse. Rebecca is married, and has three beautiful girls at home with a little boy that will make his entrance shortly after Adams Family closes! She thanks her family for all their support, along with everyone in this wonderful community for their friendship and guidance over the years. Rebecca can’t wait to see everyone at auditions, and is beyond excited to bring this story to life on the Panola Stage! May we bring Glory to God in everything we do and Praise his name every step of the way!

While this marks Rebecca’s first time directing at Panola Playhouse, she is certainly not new to our theatre family. For years, Rebecca has been an active part of our Panola Family sharing her incredible talent, love for the stage, and dedication to the theatre community.

We are so excited to meet everyone at our Annual Panola County Juneteenth Festival 2026 that will be held in downtown Sardis, MS (Main Street) from 12 Noon until 4pm. We will have several vendors who will be in attendance!! And everything is Free!! Let’s have a wonderful and safe time.

Set up time is from 9:00am until 10:30am
Spot assignments will be at the Juneteenth booth. Each vendor will receive a garbage can
