Buffalo Township Volunteer Fire Company Since 1953 BTVFC has provided emergency services to the community.

We rely on fundraisers such as our Sportsman's Bash, Golf Outing, 50/50 Safety Raffle @ Lernerville & other raffles/events, to raise the funds required to purchase and maintain equipment.

Today in remembrance we honor one of our own.

Corey left a legacy at Station 27 throughout his years as a volunteer firefighter. Firefighting became a passion of his. He had a great personal impact on the fire company. He loved what he was there to do, and he worked hard at it.

Corey’s fire gear now hangs in the truck bay of the fire station. It overlooks the truck bay he rushed into many times to answer calls from people in need of help. It remains as a reminder of that legacy he built. His time dedicated to the fire service might not have been known or seen by many, but he will always leave a lasting impression.

As we honored Corey after his passing the support from the Buffalo Township community, surrounding communities, and all across the country was astonishing. Thousands lined the very roads we serve to pay their respects to a man that volunteered his own time to be there for them and their families if needed. He has now taken on a new role to look down upon us and keep us safe as we continue to serve the community that will remember him forever.
