🎉 4th Grade Parents… Your child is now a published author! 🎉

A few weeks ago, the Literacy Council from UM visited our 4th grade classes and led an engaging lesson about 1776 and America’s quincentennial year. Students learned what life was like in 1776 and compared it to life in 2026 through their own creative writing and illustrations.

Each student contributed two pages to a special class book, making every child an official published author!

The books arrived today, and students who were at school brought their copies home. If your child was absent, you are welcome to stop by the front office to pick up their copy.

We are so proud of our talented young authors! 📚✨🐊
