The Libby app team is saddened to hear of the passing of Dolly Parton.

Dolly was a beloved artist and cultural icon, but perhaps just as importantly, she was a lifelong champion of literacy and the belief that everyone deserves access to books. Through the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, she helped put books into the hands of children in communities across the globe and inspired generations of young readers to discover the joy of reading.

Today, we’re taking a quiet moment to read in Dolly’s memory and to celebrate the incredible legacy she leaves behind.

Satsuma Public Library has a brand new water fountain with bottle filler! We invite the entire community to stop by and stay hydrated during your next walk down Old Hwy 43 or any time you visit the library. A special thank you to Senator Greg Albritton for providing the funds for this project!

Get ready to create, animate, and bring your ideas to life! Participants will learn stop-motion basics, create clay characters and sets, and make their own animated movie.

Join us at Satsuma Public Library for a fun, hands-on Claymation Workshop where students will create their own characters, sets, and stop-motion movie!

Our very first ASL class at Satsuma Public Library was a success! 💚 We had a wonderful time learning our first signs, practicing together, and getting started on our ASL journey.
