Satsuma Fire Rescue is proud to serve and protect our community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Our department is what is known as a combination fire department, meaning we are staffed around the clock by full-time paid Firefighter/EMTs, while also being supported by a dedicated volunteer side.
Our full-time staff and volunteers work hand in hand to carry out the mission of Satsuma Fire Rescue: protecting lives, property, and serving our citizens when they need us most.
Whether responding to emergencies, training together, supporting public events, or preparing for the next call, every member plays an important role in the success of our department.

Today is a proud day for Satsuma Fire Rescue as we congratulate Thomas Harper on his graduation from the Fire Academy! 🚒🎓

As Fire Chief, I could not be more proud of Thomas and the hard work, dedication, and commitment he has shown to reach this milestone. He has already proven himself to be a valuable asset to Satsuma Fire Rescue, and this achievement is just the beginning of a strong and meaningful career in the fire service.

I, along with every member of our department, look forward to many years of service alongside Thomas as he continues to grow, learn, and serve our community with pride and professionalism. Congratulations, Thomas—we are proud to call you one of our own.

🚨PARADE UPDATE 🚨
The parade has been rescheduled to this Sunday, December 7th at 2:30pm. This will coincide with the Christmas in Satsuma Arts and Crafts event at Baldwin Square.

✔️Check-in begins at 1:00pm.
✔️Parade rolls at 2:30pm along the route shown in the photo.
✔️Float or vehicle entry registration will be taken until 2:00pm Sunday.
✔️Check-in will end at 2:15pm to allow SFD personnel to get in place.
⚠️Floats will assemble in the football stadium parking lot until they are directed to be lined up behind SHS.

We have been watching several different weather apps and been in discussion with Brent regarding the event in Baldwin Square. In efforts to avoid interfering with other planned Christmas events, we feel this is the best plan for both events. We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing everyone this Sunday!

Our guys are meeting Friday morning and will make a determination regarding the parade scheduled for Saturday. Our ultimate goal is to align with the Christmas in Satsuma arts and crafts show at Baldwin Square.

✔️Check-in will end at 1045am to allow SFD personnel to get in place.
