Hello Lynnhurst Families!

We hope everyone is enjoying their summer.

As you know, the Lynnhurst Elementary School is closed. We have two new and exciting Lower & Upper Elementary Schools instead.

The new Parent-Teacher Organizations will be a work-in-progress this fall, but we are working on things.

Both pages are, like the new PTOs, a work-in-progress and monitored by Lori (Lynnhurst PTO Secretary) with help from Jill (Lynnhurst Treasurer). We will do our best while we transition and build two new organizations and their leadership this school year.

Just a reminder that these is a community forum tonight! We know many of our Lynnhurst families are curious about what will happen to the schools that are closing and participating in the community forums for our town's master plan is one opportunity to talk about ideas and needs our neighborhood has.

It’s our last day of the school year and also student’s time at our neighborhood Lynnhurst School.

Thanks to everyone who came out to “Chalk the Walk” Yesteday. We hope it helps make this last day extra special for our students, families, and staff. They deserve it.

Hey families! Just an update: If it’s too wet to “chalk the walk” today, we’ll host “Decorate the Door” with construction paper, markers, and tape to leave messages on the outside of the front windows and Teacher doors. We’ll roll with it and we hope you still join us! 🙂

Hey all our Lynnhurst Lion families past and present!

We are just three short school days away from the end of not only the school year, but also the end of our time at Lynnhurst Elementary.

On Tuesday June 15th, from 4-8pm, we would like to invite families past and present to come "Chalk the Walk" with your favorite memories, well wishes, and love for the Lynnhurst in the main driveway and by each classroom door. Our neighborhood school is a really special place and we'd love to have you share what it meant to you.

We will have buckets of chalk available around the school on Tuesday and simply stop by to leave a quick message. The weather looks like it will cooperate for once. :)

If you can't make it to the school to write your message, please email it to [email protected]. We'll print your message and display it.

Our staff and students will arrive to your messages and memories on our last day of the school year as we close out this school year.

Feel free to help spread the word to our Lynnhurst families. Let's make our last day memorable!

Scholastic Book Fair 2021 was a huge success. Approx 220 books were sold at the fair for a total profit of $2,482.04 in scholastic dollars to buy books and supplies.

Through the years, approx 1,468 is the total number of books put into the hands of the students at Lynnhurst Elementary School. Amazing!!

Thank you to many volunteers who help bring smiles to the students faces and enhancing their minds through reading.

Last call for the Field Day t-shirt forms. Please send the form in tomorrow May 14, 2021. If we do not receive a form with the child’s size, we will fill out the size for you. No worries, we are good at guessing sizes!!! Thank you.
